Compared to regular tea packets which use ground tea leaves, you get the best part of the tea plant by using loose leaf teas. When tea leaves are ground, they lose some of their flavor as well as some of the antioxidants and other healthy elements, whereas with loose leaf teas, the integrity of the tea is kept intact.
